| Founded in 1888, Mahidol University (MUIC) is one of the oldest educational institutions in Thailand, and today, includes 16 faculties, 8 institutions, 3 hospitals, and 6 colleges. The university supports a student body of over 19,000 and has over 2,600 faculty, making the teacher student ratio the best of any university in Thailand. This makes study abroad in Bangkok, Thailand and study at MUIC a top-notch educational experience. Mahidol University International College (MUIC) was established to deliver English-taught science and liberal arts programs that embody the finest standards possible to a diverse population of full-time Thai students and study abroad and international students from outside of Thailand. Programs in the social sciences, business, and tourism management stand alongside offerings in health and natural sciences. In addition to these, the College offers general education courses in foreign languages and humanities.
