Language Instruction

Prior language skill is not a requirement for studying abroad on GlobaLinks Learning Abroad programs nor is it a required course at majority of our partner universities. However, cultural integration is at the heart of GlobaLinks Learning Abroad’s program philosophy so we strongly encourage students to pursue language instruction in order to experience a deeper connection with the people and the country. GlobaLinks Learning Abroad recommends that students combine classes in their major with language instruction and area studies to establish a well-rounded academic program that maximizes their learning opportunities abroad. See the university profiles for more information on language course options at each university.
