| To be eligible for acceptance to the GlobaLinks Learning Abroad Semester and Year Abroad Program, you must have have completed at least the equivalent of one year of full-time study at the university/college level (25-32 credits) by the time you would be a participant in the program. There is also a GPA requirement set by each university, which can be found on each university profile page. Students with a lower GPA than the requirement may be considered on a case by case basis. Please contact our office for more information.
If you are currently a freshman in college/university, you can still apply to study abroad at most universities as long as you are at least 18 years old. You must have at least one semester of results on a university or college transcript. Your application will be referred to the university directly for approval and the results of your second semester will be required prior to departure.
