| All our internship opportunities will be conducted in English. No prior foreign language experience is needed for any of our internships. However, the official language in Shanghai is Mandarin. We believe that one of the best ways to truly immerse yourself in any culture is to make sure that you understand some of the local language. Therefore, interns in Shanghai will have the option of adding on Mandarin language lessons at an additional cost. Mandarin lessons are NOT available for internships in Hong Kong. If you choose to add Mandarin lessons to your internship in Shanghai, you will work one-on-one with your teacher and you will be able to tailor everything to fit your specific needs. Each lesson can be planned anytime to meet your schedule. You will also have the opportunity to focus on any particular area that you are most in need. If you feel you need additional help in reading, writing, speaking, business Mandarin, or basic Mandarin, just let your teacher know and your next lessons will be tailored to those needs. |
