We custom build internships to meet students’ needs, and bring our experience to ensure a great internship experience. Internship Schedule Most internships will be 40 hours per week over 5 days. PDAC The Professional Development for Academic Credit (PDAC) internships are 10-week programs which offer 6 academic credits from Chapman University in California. Chapman University is an established university located in Orange, California, with a strong mission in developing global citizens. PDAC Internships are currently offered four times each year and placements are available in almost every field of study. This semester or summer internship program allows students to earn academic credit and learn valuable work skills. Students who participate in this internship abroad program will also be greeted by GlobaLinks Learning Abroad in country for a three-day group orientation. Custom Date Internships Custom date internships are available for students who cannot participate in the PDAC program. These very independent placements do not include credit or group flight arrangements. An in-country orientation is included upon your arrival in Shanghai or Hong Kong. Students applying for Custom Date Internship placements that seek academic credit must arrange credit through their home university. Academic requirements must be provided to GlobaLinks Learning Abroad with the student’s application. Additional fees may apply for coordinating academic assessment.
