Getting to and from Singapore:

Singapore only has one main airport, Changi International Airport, which is about 12 miles from the city center.


Getting around Singapore:
By Air
Both Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines offer frequent flights between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Malaysia Airlines also offers flights from Singapore to other cities on Peninsular Malaysia.

By Bus
Singapore’s buses run very frequently, are inexpensive and provide a good amount of comfort during travel (some even have TV’s). For information on routes and times go to: www.sbstransit.com.sg

By Subway and Light Rail
The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) is the easiest way to travel throughout Singapore. The subways and light rails run from about 5:30am to Midnight. Information on the routes and timetables can be found at www.smrt.com.sg

By Taxi
Singapore has more than 19,000 taxis in the city and they are generally easy to find. Some of the cab companies are; City Cab, Comfort CabLink and SMRT Cabs.
