The Cameron Highlands is a great place to go to see some of Malaysia’s natural beauty. It consists of three small towns of rolling jungle and terraced plantations upon a mountaintop. There are miles of hiking trails that lead to beautiful waterfalls and mountaintop vistas.
To enjoy the water there is Cherating, a half-moon beach about 12 miles north of Kuantan. Chearting is one of the top 10 windsurfing spots in the world.
Outside of the natural beauty are the architectural wonders of Malaysia, including the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur. These 88-storey buildings are the tallest free-standing towers in the world.
