JCU Singapore (JCUS) is a branch campus of James Cook University in Townsville, Australia. James Cook University is revered as Australia’s leading tropical research university and offers a broad range of study areas with a strong research focus. The prestigious Shanghai JiaoTong University, Academic Ranking of World Universities recently listed JCU in the top 500.

In 2003, James Cook University opened a branch campus in Singapore. By bringing programs direct from the parent campus, students studying at JCUS can be assured of the same quality and enriching university education. A wcomprehensive range of facilities available on campus include lecture and
tutorial rooms equipped with modern teaching technology, computer laboratories with broadband Internet access, wireless Internet-enabled floors, student lounge, cafeteria, and library. The campus is centrally located and easily accessible by public transportation. The urban location of the campus offers quick access to the city center and all the resources it has to offer.

Housing

All housing is located off campus. AsiaLearn students will be placed in furnished apartments with good accessibility to the campus as well as educational and recreational facilities. Typical amenities include airconditioning, swimming pool, gym, BBQ area, and 24-hour security.

Each term students are invited to participate in a variety of optional affordable excursions organized by the AsiaLearn Resident Coordinator. Each activity is designed to be fun and educational so that students gain a deeper appreciation for the arts, culture, and history. Examples include:
