As Regional Director, Julie is responsible for managing university partnerships in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Originally from North Carolina, Julie received her BA in History from Appalachian State University and her MA in Chinese Language from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She participated in a summer abroad in Wurzburg, Germany; spent a year studying Chinese in Taizhong, Taiwan; and worked in Shenyang, China teaching English for two years. Prior to joining GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, Julie served as University Relations Manager with an international education organization, and also worked with a Massachusetts-based NGO focused on Corporate Social Compliance and international workers’ rights. Julie is based in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
